hello, friends. is life running you in circles? well, i am a bit dizzy because my circles seem to be getting closer together and squeezing a bit. or, maybe that’s my pants!
this first one is fifi, my teacup poodle, using simple stories 24/7. this line is yummy, and what great colors. simple to scrap with, but still the fun simple stories style. I also used a strip of pink paislee’s lux collection. i wasn’t a huge fan at first, but i am liking how it’s a nice thick paper with super shine. i also added some of my washi tape that i carry in the booth – love arrows – especially on a boy page. the wood embellishments are a mix of freckled fawn and studio calico. i stained them using tim holtz’s distress stains. love those things! then, i added a bit of vellum. it’s back in style! also, enamel dots are back in too. now, i loooooooooooooooove these things. look for them in my booth, b/c i am obsessed with them. i have ordered every color combo i see. ssshhhh. dont tell matt!
this page is all about b and her ducks. they live in my mother-in-law’s lake in her backyard. they are well-feed ducks who enjoy trying to steal her nuk! she does not think this is funny! i used october afternoon’s midway collection. i dont normally have time to scrap the same collection twice, but these ducks were calling out to me: “Nicole, Nicole, Nicole!” LOL
So, i decided to use a crafter’s workshop template to add the days of the week along the side, and i drew water lines with wink of stella glitter waterbrush markers. i love it! the title says,” The Quack Stops Here.” oh, and more of my washi tape with enamel dots!
